Snowangels, snowboarding and dim sims...
Today's window shot looked like this
Ben was having a rest day for his knees and muscles, but I was good to go so I organised another lesson with our snowboarding instructor, Alex, for 8.30am so I strapped on my board and made my way down to the ski school.
I stacked it when I got to the ski school area, but was pretty happy with the run down. I met up with Alex and we headed down to the bottom of the run - I got some full S turns in and then we headed up to the top of the run. The visibility wasn't great, but the run was pretty clear because most people hadn't started yet.
This lesson really boosted my confidence, and Alex even got me doing some 360 spins on the snow, which can help turn you around if you are on the wrong spot.
After the lesson I headed back to the room, where Ben was doing a bit of work on his laptop. We took today pretty easy, and caught the shuttle bus down to the main village area and had a coffee and a chai latte at the Powder Bar - I really liked the chai.
We stopped by Wok Worx for lunch and had Hoi Sin veggies and Char Kway Teow - along with a couple of dim sums - in a bag. All up around $34, but the serving sizes were so large we had leftovers for dinner.
We headed back up to the hotel, and went outside in the snow and made a few snowangels.
We were back in the room in time for Midsomer Murders, which starts off our afternoon/evening regime. Midsomers, Mythbusters, Seinfeld, Tonight Show then Tour de France. It's all about priorities.
