Les Rosiers is not so rosy...

Another day, another restaurant booking, this time in Biarritz, in France, about 1 hours drive away.

It wasn’t bad, but it was probably hard to judge coming off two such awesome lunch days.

We had some nice starters of salmon, cherry tomatos and bread bites, and some gazpacho.

Starters Gazpacho

I had foie gras which can be a mistake - this one was so huge and had so many pieces of toast that I was quite full once I finished it all! Ben had a lobster ravioli (with foam), which was a much more reasonable size than mine.

I went for something different, and had pidgeon bits (wings, gibblets, breast) for my main, which was actually quite tasty, and Ben had some fish.

We shared some cheese which I thought was a bit strong, before dessert of chocolate fondant with caramel salt icecream. I was so full Ben had to finish my dessert - damn you foie gras!

Cheeses Serts

We headed back to San Sebastian but I wasn’t feeling the best so I had a sleep for 5 hours, before getting up for a quick bite at the cool dudes place, croquettas and pimientos, before heading back to the room and sleeping.
