Most awesome breakfast ever...

First thing on the agenda - finding the most awesome breakfast place ever.

I’ve been waiting 2 years to come back to this place and have breakfast.

Last time we were here we found this place which had ham and cheese croissants (for Ben) and around the corner and down a bit really thick chocolate and grilled fresh bread with butter and a drizzle of runny apricot marmalade.

So the hunt was on. We found the shopping centre near it and I remembered you just had to walk down a street and go left and we would find it - and find it we did!

La Tahona

This is the most delicious chocolate - thick, creamy, and the toasted bread (not to dip in) is awesome. Those, together with Ben’s cafe cortado, is a bargain at 3.50 E.

We then went and had a sit down and a cool drink on the main street - and who do we see go by? Our doppelgangers/stalkers. Lol.

It was pretty hot - a lot of people were at the beach, but we weren’t tempted - look at all the people on the beach!

Crowded

Once again, another night of heading round the old town.

This time we went to a place our doppelgangers had mentioned and had some awesome setas a la plancha (mushrooms on the grill) and they were pretty good - crunchy with bacon bits. Later we were back here and I had the foie - tasty.

We also went back to the cool dudes place (Bar Martinez), and had some slightly deep fried pimientos and tortilla and croquettas.

We were still hungry so we went to a place a little out of the way - not really in old town - Bar Haizea. We had some chorizo in txakoli which was juicy and delicious as well as some mushrooms.

It was a great night, some tasty tapas, and time to go to sleep - tomorrow - more food!
