Lounging in Lombok - again...
Woke up to waves on the sand, and opened our window to this view.
Then headed to breakfast, for some crepes.
Then we found some lounge chairs, and I headed off to drop our laundry off and have a 1hr foot massage ($5).
After I got the hard work out of the way, I met Ben back on the lounges.
Lounging is never complete without Frozens.
After a while we headed back to the aircon of the room, before I set out for a fancy massage at the hotel. And by fancy, I mean that it cost $35.
I decided on a Balinese massage, and was ushered into a private treatment room on the beach, with a seperate area to change. First up, I had a glass of ice tea while I enjoyed a foot scrub in a warm bath dusted with Frangipanis.
The massage went for an hour and was nice and relaxing with the sound of the waves crashing on the shore, just metres away, and lyrical Beatles music playing. Considering I arrived at 2.36pm and had only booked for a 1hr massage, all up I was out at 4pm, and enjoyed a pot of tea while soaking up the atmosphere. All in all a very enjoyable experience.
Back in the hotel room Ben was gearing up to watch the Cats on the Australia channel, and then we headed out to dinner at one of the local haunts - the Lotus.
A chicken curry and a Nasi Goreng later, and we were very full.
